Mastering Net Zero supports Boortmalt’s clean energy transition by helping the company phase out fossil fuel use across its European sites and reach net-zero emissions for scopes 1 and 2 by 2031. To do so, Boortmalt is developing scalable and replicable renewable energy projects designed to address common implementation barriers. The project also focuses on creating innovative financing structures and strong local analysis to help mobilise the public and private investment needed for this large-scale industrial transition. Around €30 million has already been invested, with a further €100 million expected.
