About

Marko Zlonoga is a licensed architect who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb in 2002. He has worked in architectural design, urban planning, and energy-efficient buildings, including low-energy construction, building renovation, energy audits, and certification across Croatia. He also contributed as a URBACT Ad Hoc Expert on sustainable urban development. Since joining REGEA in 2019, he has worked on projects from local to European level related to spatial planning, sustainable buildings, and integrated urban development. As Head of the Buildings Department, he coordinates the team’s work and training, supports the development and delivery of renovation and construction projects, and helps align REGEA’s work with key EU frameworks for sustainable buildings.
