Carsten Glenting is partner and head of EU advisory department at Viegand Maagøe where he is responsible for consulting on strategic, economic and financial aspects of energy efficiency. He has 35 years’ experience in management consultancy, the energy sector, and the financial sector. Since 2025, Carsten has been leading the Secretariat for the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition (EEEFIN Coalition), a Commission initiative, bringing together EU Member States, financial institutions and industry stakeholders, to identify actions to concretely improve private financing for energy efficiency. During 2016-2023 he held a similar position for the Coalition’s predecessor the Energy Efficiency Financing Financial Institutions Group (EEFIG).
